Greg Estes
Meet Greg Estes, one of our Partners and a Senior Project Architect. Greg is originally from Indiana where some of his favorite memories were playing basketball in the driveway and family cookouts.
In Indiana, it’s not a cookout unless you are grilling sweet corn. Greg has brought this tradition to his home in Texas where every time he fires up the grill you can bet that there is sweet corn on that grill. The only question then becomes whether or not the corn is left in the husk or taken out. But everyone knows it tastes better grilled in the husk!
"Advice from my dad that stuck with me since I was a small boy; ‘That’s the architect, he’s the boss. That’s who you want to be."
In Greg’s free time, he enjoys being active and outside; whether that’s playing golf, camping or hiking with friends, grilling, riding his bike or chasing his son, Jaxon, around the park. One of the best hikes he has done was in Guadalupe Mountains National Park where he climbed Guadalupe Peak which is the tallest peak in Texas at 8,751’! The round-trip hike took about 7 hours and was about 8 ½ miles long!
During Greg’s time at Glenn|Partners, Greg has led all management and design aspects for projects at Alcuin School and Richardson ISD in addition to designing the interior wall graphics for Byron Nelson High School’s new Athletic Field House. Greg’s other responsibilities include firm branding and marketing related activities to help grow our presence in north Texas!

First Moment when you realized you wanted to be an Architect
I was on site with my dad and the architect walked the site. I asked him who that was because I wasn't used to that and he said, “That's the architect, he’s the boss. That's who you want to be.”
