Laura Gorden

Meet Laura Gorden, one of our newest Senior Project Architects. Laura grew up in a military family and experienced a variety of locales at a young age before settling in Texas. These early experiences imparted a love of travel and appreciation for diverse cultures. She attended Texas A&M University for both her Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture. There, she met her husband, a fellow architect. Today, she and her husband still enjoy many DIY and design projects together, but their favorite project is parenting their three incredible children. Laura can often be found around the metroplex cheering her children on in their many activities such as swimming, soccer, chess, and rock band.

With previous experience in civic and commercial architecture, Laura is eager to leverage her skills to improve the quality of life in her community by developing inspiring and innovative learning environments.

First Moment when you realized you wanted to be an Architect

I always loved to draw and create, but also enjoyed math and science classes in school. When I first realized the practice of architecture combined those pursuits, I knew that was the path I had to follow.
