Holy Trinity Seminary Cardinal Farrell Student Center
In 1965, Holy Trinity Seminary was founded to educate and prepare men for priestly ministry around the world. In 2016, a new campus master plan was developed to align with the seminary’s vision for their future growth as well as embracing its rich tradition. The existing 1960’s administration building and residential dormitory wings establish the overall architectural design aesthetic that the new Student Activity Center embraces. The new building articulates existing architectural elements while introducing new modern elements too. In addition, the new building is situated along the entry drive and built into the hill of the existing contours creating an intimate and protected entry court and plaza space. The Student Activity Center is a 23,000 SF two story stand-alone building. The Student Activity Center will serve the social and athletic needs for the seminarians and includes a gymnasium, gym support space, exercise room, TV rooms, game room, classroom space and a student lounge and kitchen area.
