RL Turner High School
The new $52.5 million project for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD's RL Turner High School is designed to accommodate 2,200 students from grades 9 through 12. Spanning 188,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility will feature dynamic common areas that promote collaborative learning, new classrooms—including specialized spaces for Career and Technical Education (CTE)—and enhanced campus connectivity. Drawing inspiration from the school's "Pride of the Lions," the design incorporates a warm, grassland theme, creating a safe and nurturing environment. Students will be guided along "river" circulation paths, leading them from classrooms to key areas such as the Library, Cafeteria, and the newly created Student Commons. Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025.
